RED DIESEL

Red Diesel is sold on the forecourt here at Smithy View Service Station. Please head into the shop and tell us your permitted use and we will turn on the pump to allow you to fill your certified containers. If you intend to purchase 100 liters or more, please bring along a UK driving license or another form of ID.

Red Diesel usage is monitored by Customs and Excise and it is paramount that Red Diesel is not used in road going vehicles such as cars, vans or lorries. Red Diesel is marked with a special red dye allowing Customs and Excise to monitor when and where red diesel has been used, and also to trace the origins of supply, if Red Diesel is found to be used in an inappropriate manner Customs and Excise will almost certainly take action against the offender.
